Rock Village Camping

For the first time ever, we’re introducing camping to Rock The Mote 2020 to enable you to fully enjoy the weekend-long experience without having to leave Mote Park! Fitted with your own exclusive bar, toilets, shower blocks and food unit(s), Rock The Mote’s official campsite has everything you need to make the most our of your weekend!


If you’re coming with the family and camping with children, there will be a quiet, family-friendly area, which will be clearly signposted for you to enjoy a different camping experience.


  • Arrive from 17:00 on Friday 31st July 2020

  • Your bags and other belongings will be searched each time you enter the campsite

  • You will be limited to one crate (12) of beer/cider or one 750ml bottle of wine/70cl spirit per person to be brought into the campsite

  • All beverages brought into the campsite must be in cans/plastic bottles, so please empty any spirits or wine into plastic bottles

  • Any glass will be confiscated upon entry

  • Parking is available, however you will need to be in possession of a weekend parking ticket

  • Camping is for weekend ticket holders only (if you would like to upgrade your day ticket to a weekend, so you can camp, email

  • Shower blocks, toilets, exclusive bars and food traders will be available throughout your stay in the campsite

  • There will be a free charging station available, however you are responsible for your belongings

  • Campsite food traders will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner

  • You cannot re-enter the campsite with more alcohol - the initial 12 cans/750ml of wine/70cl spirit is all that you can bring into the campsite 

  • If you already have a weekend ticket, you will now need to purchase a camping ticket for admission into the camping area

  • The campsite will close at midday on Monday 3rd August 2020

  • Children will also need a weekend camping ticket to gain access to the campsite

  • Throughout the weekend you will have free access to Maidstone’s award winning Mote Park playground, which is situated just 100m from the campsite.

  • You will also have access to the newly refurbished adventure area, however this may be chargeable by Maidstone Borough Council

  • You will need to purchase tokens inside the campsite to purchase food and drinks

  • When entering the festival arena, you will need to queue at the main entrance with day customers 

  • You’re welcome to bring food from the campsite into the main arena, however your picnic bags/baskets will be searched again

  • Camper vans and caravans are not permitted

  • We kindly ask that you respect fellow campers by using the litter bins provided and that you keep noise to a minimum after midnight

  • Antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated and you will be ejected from the campsite if you’re found behaving in an inappropriate manner or are overly intoxicated

  • We reserve the right to amend or add to this information
